Do you want to know what the simplest pleasure of Fridays is?
In slightly less than eight hours and 30 minutes from now I will be free to take off my shoes and put on sneakers. At that point I will be clear to only wear sneakers until 9:00am on Monday.
Sneakers are symbolic of the freedom of the weekend.
Give it up for sneakers!
