I hate that

I had a nice little run.

Over the last few weeks the red sea that is Boston area traffic parted enough for me to have a few easy all-highway commutes both in the morning and evening.

That's all over. Yesterday I was stuck in a seven mile back up on 495. Today I got off of 495 before that spot, but I still got stuck in a five mile back up before I got off. I followed that with 50 minutes in gridlock on route 2. Tonight on the way home there were idiots everywhere and then a traffic jam on 495.

The happy drives are gone for a while. It's back to the all back road routes.
