Sweet

We get two days to bask in the glory of the Bruins 8-1 ass kicking of the Canucks last night. It was glorious. Bruins fandom couldn't be more pleased.

Enjoy the highlights. (do you have to click through? can you click through?)

Here's what seems strange about last night's game. Yes the score was 8-1. The outcome stopped being in doubt by the start of the third period. There were huge hits. There was a devastating injury. There were fights (believe it or not) and there were scrums galore. There was taunting in response for the bite/taunts in games 1 and 2. Despite all of that, the thing that is sticking out to me is just how awesome Tim Thomas played. The man is a fiend in net, and decking Henrick Sedin in the third period just seems to sum up the entire game.

Game four is tomorrow, let's hope last night's Bruins show up again. Let's also hope that Nathan Horton is all right. Last night they announced that he was going to the hospital, but he was able to move all of his extremities. Today I hear that they neglected to mention the fact that Mr Horton at that time believed he was in Vancouver. Let's hope he's all right.

Go Bruins!
