So Mr Burrows commits an offense that precedence states deserves a one game suspension. The NHL in it's infinite wisdom decides not to suspend him. Mr Burrows then goes into game two and scores twice and assists on the teams only other goal. His second goal is the overtime winner.
How is the NHL not a joke?
If you are a conspiracy theorist by trade then today is your day to shine. It seems very easy to envision that the league prefers Vancouver.
I don't happen to believe that, I think they just screwed up in the same inept way they always do, but if conspiracy and sports fixing is your bag... Then the NHL set it up nicely for you.
The result? The Boston Bruins are down two games to none once again. I am Cautiously Optimistic that the come back will commence on Monday night at the garden.
It was another great game and both goalies were insane, with the exception of Thomas vacating the net 11 seconds into overtime. Once again the B's seemed to run out of steam a bit during the third period. They are going to need to work on that before Monday night.
Get it done.
