So we have agreed to spend an obscene amount of money on a house. The sellers have agreed that this specific obscene amount of money is acceptable to them. Both sides have signed the document that legalizes this agreement.
Hurdle number one has been jumped.
Hurdle number two gets under way this afternoon. The home inspection. That's where we pay some one a fair chunk of money to tell us everything that is wrong with the house we agreed to pay the obscene amount of money to buy.
This Is further into the process than we've gotten in the past and the stress level continues to rise.
