I watched some of game six of the World Series last night. Just a couple of innings. Then I switched to radio and listened to a couple more innings. It was terrible. Both teams were playing like little leaguers. It was shameful at times. I turned it off and went to sleep. I didn't want to hear the team I picked lose because they forgot how to play defense.
But now I find out they won? The Cardinals won game six after scoring two runs in the ninth to send the game to extra innings, scoring two runs in the 10th to preserve extra innings, and then scoring on a David Freese walk off home run in the 11th.
So the Cardinals have a chance to win it all and make me look like I knew what I was talking about when I picked them, and I have one more chance to use that MLB At Bat 11 app to listen to live game radio.
Go Cardinals!
