The Red Sox have lost two in a row to the Royals.
I repeat:
The Red Sox have lost two in a row to the Royals.
When your team loses two out of three to the laughing stock of the American League... does that not make you the laughing stock of the American League?
Methinks Yes.
As for hockey, we have to wait until Saturday to find out the winner of the only series still undecided. Why? Because the NHL apparently has taken playoff scheduling tips from the NBA. What is this two days off between games crap? It's been happening all over the place this year. Do we really need an extra travel day to move between Washington, DC and New York, NY? Methinks no. Play the damn game on Friday. The hell with NBC, okay?
My dear readers will have to wait until Sunday at the earliest to hear my official conference finals predictions, but I'll give you a hint right now. A Los Angeles vs New Jersey match up in the finals would pit two former Lowell AHL teams' parent clubs against each other. Interesting, eh?
